entrepreneurship, medical assistance); Technical training (Photoshop, programming, project management). The organization’s personal development program, which annually trains 50 people in key skills like leadership and emotional intelligence, demonstrates the value of tailored, intensive learning experiences. Adult education programs can adopt this model to provide more personalized and impactful learning journeys. Asociatia Frends pentru Dezvoltare implements over 10 projects annually addressing various societal needs. Adult education programs can incorporate similar community- oriented projects to: Enhance learners’ practical skills; Foster civic engagement, and provide real-world application of knowledge. With 40 permanent volunteers playing important roles in day-to-day activities and long-term goals, the organization showcases the potential of integrating volunteers into adult education programs. This approach can: reduce operational costs, provide mentorship opportunities, and create a more dynamic learning environment. Adult education programs can benefit from Asociatia Frends pentru Dezvoltare’s vast network of partners, including governmental and non- governmental organizations, local businesses, and community groups. Such partnerships can: expand resources and expertise, provide learners with diverse perspectives and opportunities, and enhance the program’s impact and reach.
The organization’s foundation of friendship, loyalty, team spirit, and leadership can inspire adult education programs to incorporate similar values. This approach can create a more supportive and motivating learning environment, potentially
increasing retention and success rates.

Innovative Education, Science and Art Association is a non-profit, non-governmental organization established in Mersin-Turkey.

IESA prioritizes citizen participation in democratic processes at the local, national, and international levels, with a particular focus on empowering young people. Our mission is to enhance the employability and quality of life of individuals of all ages through non-formal education and training, such as project participation, conferences, and workshops.
We aspire to broaden citizens’ horizons, especially youth and youth workers, by fostering responsibility and encouraging active engagement and up-to-date information. We also strive to inspire the next generation of leaders to effect positive
societal changes across all domains. We aim to support individuals from disadvantaged and marginalized backgrounds and to promote gender equality.
IESA operates in a dynamic and diverse urban environment, where the cosmopolitan structure of the city has led to a rich tapestry of cultures and communities. As a large city with a significant immigrant population from various countries, as well
as local migrants displaced by natural disasters such as the massive earthquake that hit the region in 2023, our organization is acutely aware of the challenges and opportunities associated with promoting social cohesion and combating discrimination.
IESA recognizes that the cosmopolitan nature of our city can sometimes exacerbate discrimination and social exclusion, particularly among vulnerable groups such as immigrants and displaced individuals. Through our participation in local campaigns, our cooperation with schools that host a significant percentage of immigrants, and our cooperation with local
authorities, we are committed to addressing these challenges by promoting understanding, tolerance, and respect for diversity. Although the organization is young, the founders and some members of our organization have a proven track record of implementing innovative projects and initiatives that foster intercultural dialogue, promote social inclusion, and empower marginalized communities to overcome barriers to participation. One of the main visions of our organization is to continue to use this experience within our operations and in similar initiatives, projects and cooperation.

SEGE, based in Greece, has been involved in numerous EU-funded and national projects that align with the goals of supporting mothers and future mothers.

SEGE has been involved in numerous EU-funded and national projects that align with the goals of supporting mothers and future mothers. While many of our initiatives focus on economic empowerment, our experience in gender equality and social inclusion extends to key areas relevant to maternal well-being:
-Employment reintegration programs that help mothers return to work after maternity
leave, offering training in digital skills, business development, and financial literacy.
-Support for women in vulnerable situations, including single mothers and victims of
gender-based violence, ensuring they have access to education, employment, and legal
assistance.
-Entrepreneurship training for mothers, enabling them to create their own work
opportunities with flexible schedules that accommodate family responsibilities.
-Advocacy for early childhood education and childcare services, ensuring that working
mothers have access to affordable and quality childcare options.
Through these initiatives, SEGE helps create an inclusive and empowering environment where motherhood is seen as a strength rather than a limitation.
SEGE is a leading organization in advocating for gender equality, women’s empowerment and family support. We recognize that economic and social inequalities often place additional burdens on mothers, affecting their career opportunities and well-being.
To address this, SEGE actively promotes:
-Workplace gender equality, advocating for fair pay, parental leave policies, and childcare
support in employment settings.
-Awareness campaigns highlighting the challenges faced by working mothers and pushing for
policy reforms that promote flexible work arrangements.
-Training and development programs tailored for women seeking employment after
maternity leave, ensuring they regain confidence and acquire relevant skills.
-Community support networks, connecting mothers with mentors, industry professionals,
and organizations that provide emotional and practical support.
SEGE also works to prevent and address gender-based discrimination, including the challenges women face during pregnancy and maternity leave. We collaborate with policymakers to enhance protections for mothers in the workplace and to promote economic independence for women
raising children.
